A very early Saab SF.340A (c/n 052). First flown in Mar-86 with the Saab test registration SE-E52, this aircraft was delivered to Kendell Airlines (Australia) as VH-KDP in Apr-86.
It was transferred to REX Regional Express in Jun-01 and stored at Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia in Sep-01. REX Regional Express was merged into Australiawide Airlines in Aug-02. The aircraft was sold to Saab Leasing AB in May-03 and sold to Hawker Pacific (Pty) Ltd in Aug-03.
It was sold to RAF Avia (Latvia) as YL-RAG in Aug-05 for a regional cargo role. Now 35.5 years old it continues in service. Current, updated 04-Sep-21.
