Due to an operational issue at Henty and trackwork between Marulan and Goulburn, the XPT was only running between Goulburn and Wagga Wagga (visa versa). This XPT set did the Goulburn to Wagga Wagga service. The XPT set remained at the station for about 20 minutes before departing without pax (passengers) from Wagga Wagga back towards Goulburn with the seats still in the Sydney to Melbourne layout.
