As part of Ngiyaginya Aboriginal Festival 2011, workshops in songwriting, recording and performance were held in several schools in the Wagga Wagga Area. This is a performance by students from Wagga Wagga High School students in front of 1600 students from across wagga. THis was just one song out of 12 written by students, for the festival. These songs covered diverse themes and messages for local school children. This was one of 135 projects that came together to create the Ngiyaginya Aboriginal Festival.
Ngiyaginya is a Wiradjuri word that means To Revive it was give to the festival by Wiradjuri elder Uncle Stan Grant
