From May 18-24 we had the role of media crew on the NSW Variety Bash. The bash aims to raise awareness and make donations to sick and disadvantaged children. This year the bash raised over $650,000.
The bash travelled some 2500km on rough and winding roads to country and rural towns around NSW. On the Sunday we headed south to Huskinson in Jervis bay. The monday we headed further south to Merimbula via Moruya. We then headed North west to Goulburn via Numerella . On the wednesday we headed further west to Wagga Wagga via Murrumburrah. It was time to start heading north on the Thursday to Parkes via Bribbaree and then finally east on the Friday to Katoomba via Rockley before heading back to Newcastle on the Saturday.
We were asked to provide this highlights clip of the week at the final night on the Saturday. After getting home and organised I had 3-4 hours to cut and deliver this. We delivered it at 8pm to be played at 10 past…talk about cutting it fine….so its a little rough but sit back and take a look at a bit of the 2014 NSW Bash.
